Cookies and localStorage
A cookie is a small value a website can ask a browser to store and send with later requests. localStorage is a browser storage area that scripts can use to keep values between visits. Neither is needed by this site’s supplied navigation, guide pages or message-drafting tool.
The supplied script.js does not set cookies, write to localStorage or sessionStorage, or load analytics and advertising trackers. It keeps temporary interface state and the current contact draft in page memory. This is not a claim about every service that might be added by a hosting platform or a separately managed consent layer.
What happens to a draft
The setup note tool turns your entries into plain text in the current page. It does not automatically save a recoverable draft. Reloading or closing the page can lose the text, although browser autofill and session restoration may retain some field values according to your browser settings.
“Copy text” places the draft on your clipboard when permitted. Your operating system or clipboard manager may keep a history. “Download .txt” creates a file through your browser’s normal download process. Clearing website cookies does not remove clipboard history or downloaded files.
Browser cache and hosting
Your browser may cache page files and illustrations to avoid downloading them again. Cached resources are distinct from cookies and contact drafts. Hosting infrastructure may also use security or delivery features outside the page scripts. The privacy notice explains the connection information involved in requesting a page.
Manage information on your device
- Use your browser’s site-data settings to inspect and clear stored data for this domain.
- Check autofill and session-restoration settings if you share a device.
- Remove downloaded draft files from the download folder and any synced locations when no longer needed.
- Clear clipboard history through your operating system if your draft contains personal details.
- If separate site preference controls are displayed, use those controls to review the choices they manage.
Blocking cookies does not prevent reading the supplied guides. Disabling JavaScript leaves the content and ordinary links available, but the local copy/download drafting features will not run.
